About the Rotate PDF
Fix a sideways or upside-down PDF in seconds. The Rotate PDF tool turns every page by 90°, 180° or 270° and saves a corrected copy — processed locally with pdf-lib so the file is never uploaded. It's the quick fix for scans that came out in the wrong orientation.
How to use it
- 1Drop in the PDF you need to rotate.
- 2Choose how far to turn every page: 90°, 180° or 270° clockwise.
- 3Click Rotate to apply the change to all pages at once.
- 4Download the corrected PDF — your original stays untouched.
Rotation adds to the existing angle
The tool reads each page's current rotation and adds your chosen angle on top, so a page that's already turned 90° will end up correctly oriented rather than being reset. Because it edits the page's rotation metadata rather than re-rendering the content, text stays selectable and the file size barely changes — there's no loss of quality.
Common uses
- Correcting a scanned document that came out in landscape by mistake.
- Flipping upside-down pages from a double-sided scan.
- Rotating a form so it reads correctly before printing or signing.
Frequently asked questions
- Does rotating reduce quality or change the file size?
- No. Only the page rotation is changed — the underlying text and images are untouched, so quality and file size stay essentially the same.
- Can I rotate only some pages?
- This tool rotates every page by the same angle. To work with specific pages, split them out first with the Split PDF tool, rotate, then merge them back.
- Is my file uploaded to rotate it?
- No. Rotation happens entirely in your browser and the document never leaves your device.
